The oud is a traditional musical instrument, classified as a stringed instrument. It is made of wood, strung by five strings, and is used to play individual or group songs using what is known as the pentatonic scale.

The oud is a traditional stringed musical instrument. It is made of wood, with a large, semi-circular cavity design with pieces of wood stacked together, for the purpose of creating a cavity to release the resonance of sound. It is covered with a layer of thin wood with two or three holes on it with wooden ornaments. It comes out of This cavity is a wooden column called (the neck), and at the end of it is hooked with thumbtacks called tensioners. Five or six strings are tied along the length of the oud’s draw using a ruler at the end of the draw. The strings are tightened in a parallel manner, and are tightened with thumbtacks, and the strings are tuned so that tones come out according to the tones. The musical letters are decorated, the oud is colored brown, and it is polished with a transparent polish. The oud is made by specialized craftsmen in specialized workshops with the help of various tools.
